"Rob Dyke was crowned Men's Club Champion at the 2014 presentation awards held at Cambridge Meridian Golf Club. Rob also won the Club's Order of Merit, Victor Ludorum and Eclectic awards in recognition of his very successful season. He receives the Club Champion Trophy from outgoing Men's Captain Bob Taylor.
The club's incoming Captains for 2015 were welcomed in at the Captain’s Drive In Mixed Texas Scramble event. The winning team of Rob, Paul Crawford and Barbra Carter-Mouat finished ahead of the field with nett 63.6. Runners up were Gubby Panesar, Mike Belcher and Bob Boulton with nett 65.3, finishing just ahead of the team of Chris O'Connor, Phil Hadfield and John Bishop with nett 66. Players watched Andy Breacker, the new Men's Captain, Brian Price the new Senior's Captain, and Jan Harmer the new Ladies' Captain drive down the first hole after the competition for Charity.
Alan Adey was victorious in the first January Seniors Mixed Winter Cup Stableford with 40 points, one ahead of Poping Lam and four ahead of Eddie Smith.
The second Winter Cup Stableford was won by Norman Allsop with 38 points, one ahead of John Ogilvie. Poping Lam was third with 34 points.
The Men's team had a good victory against Royston Golf Club in the Mail on Sunday Classic National team competition by 3.5 to 1.5. There were wins for Bob Taylor, Paul Scott and Harry Tteralli, a half for John Summers and a narrow loss for Rob Dyke".
